A Cornucopia of Pleasures at the Nashville Farmers' Market

Since the early 19th century, the Nashville Farmers’ Market has brought residents and visitors alike some of the finest, freshest produce available anywhere in the nation. Originally located in the town square, the Market now covers 16 sprawling acres of city space, extending all the way from Harrison to Jackson Street along Rosa L. Parks Blvd. At the Nashville Farmers’ Market, you’ll encounter produce farmers, dairy farmers, cheese crafters, ranchers, restaurateurs, artists, chefs, flea merchants, workshops, special events, and more all year round. August is an especially exciting time to visit, too, as prime growing season promises the best, most succulent fruits and vegetables of the year. The open air Farm Sheds houses over 150 farmers and other vendors showcasing their wares, and the Market House includes more than a dozen eclectic, locally-owned restaurants and shops that are sure to satisfy any taste.
