A Festival Full of Laughter

If laughter truly is the best medicine, then the Nashville Comedy Festival taking place from April 16-22 is sure to cure any blues that you may be feeling. The weeklong event features a wide variety of solo acts like ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, parody master "Weird Al" Yankovic, Bill Burr, TV star Tim Allen, Billy Gardel, Chris D’Elia, and even WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. Group acts include The Comedy Get Down (George Lopez, D. L. Hughley, Eddie Griffin, and Cedric the Entertainer), IMOMSOHARD, Sal Vulcano and Nate Bargatze, and Jake and Amir who will be recording a live podcast. All of the venues for the festival--Zanies, War Memorial Auditorium, Polk Theater, Ryman Auditorium, and Exit/In--are 15 minutes or less from the Alexis Inn & Suites. You can see many of these acts throughout the week, as only some of the shows overlap. Regardless of what kind of comedy you enjoy, the Nashville Comedy Festival is sure to have something that will tickle your funny bone.
