Springtime Means Music

Now that the weather has warmed up in Tennessee’s Music City, it’s time to kick off Musicians’ Corner, an ongoing outdoor music festival that showcases the best rising talent in country music every Friday night and Saturday afternoon/evening in May, June, August, and early September. Located in Nashville’s gorgeous Centennial Park, just a short 20-minute drive from our hotel, Musicians’ Corner has hosted over 1000 artists since it began in 2005. All events are free and open to folks of all ages. There are several top-notch food trucks that sell food and drink at every event, but visitors are allowed to bring their own if they prefer (the exception is alcohol; it’s available for purchase, but cannot be brought in from the outside). You’re definitely encouraged to bring blankets, beach towels, lawn chairs—whatever will help you get comfortable for an afternoon or evening of inspiring music in one of the South’s most artistic cities.

Address: Centennial Park, 2500 West End Ave., on the southwest lawn
